Travel Diary: Ibiza, Mövenpick

I am ecstatic.

I finally got to (semi) cross-off Mövenpick in Mactan, Cebu in my “Places to Visit in the Philippines”. Everything seemed destined. I came to Cebu for a 4-day business trip and on booking my return flight to Manila, I had found out that all afternoon flights were full and was advised to take the 8pm flight instead. Knowing that Movenpick was near the Mactan Airport, I decided to cap off the visit with a quick stop-over in one of the city’s most luxurious resorts. I was joined by Cebu bloggers The Glamarazzi Kristine and Philippine Street Fashion‘s Marco.

It had just finished raining when we got there. nonetheless, everything was still picturesque and beautiful. (#Kilig!) We also made it just in time for Happy Hour, too! We went to Ibiza, the resort’s beach side bar open to the public. In the afternoon, it felt like you were on docks, then by night, the neon lights turn on and Ibiza transforms into this hot and happening spot where you might find the likes of international celebrities and partyphiles.

The closest thing to this back in Manila is Sofitel, I believe?

There are more photos from this trip to come. I mentioned semi-cross off earlier because I didn’t exactly stay in Movenpick (which I would’ve loved!). Maybe, soon!
